“Tk30 lakh had been invested for the restaurant. My partner and I were already in loss after inaugurating the restaurant, and after this drive we have lost all,” a dejected Helal told The New Nation on Tuesday.
The restaurateurs were not the only victims of the drive; all 38 staffs of the food outlet were also suddenly left unemployed.

“We have asked business owners to stop all operations on the residential road, otherwise we will take further steps against them,” said RAJUK official Ashraful.
