BUFT team returns from Netherlands

Seventeen faculty members of BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology has recently returned Dhaka after an extensive training conducted by Nyenrode Business University, Netherlands under NICHE (Netherlands Initiative for Capacity Development in higher Education).
The training was a part of an MSc level program that is being offered to the selected faculties of BUFT under NICHE project. It’s a Dutch funded 4 years project to bring better CSR, SRHR and Innovative leadership in practice for our RMG sector in Bangladesh. BUFT, the flagship university of BGMEA, was awarded this project by the Dutch ministry last year and currently capacity development phase is going on.
The vision of this project is to ensure a sustainable RMG sector in our country and BUFT will establish a specialized CSR centre in this regard very soon. With increased knowledge of better practices, it’s expected that the faculty members will contribute to bring significant positive change in the industry through consultancy, knowledge sharing, curriculum development, training and building awareness.
