Brothers Union Club registered their first victory in the Saif Power Battery Bangladesh Premier League Football as they recorded a hard-fought solitary goal victory over Muktijodda Sangsad Krira Chakra held on Tuesday at Bangabandhu National Stadium.
The first half of the match saw both the team got several scoring chances but failed to convert any of those into a goal.
However foreign recruit Ausustin Walson finally broke the deadlock as he scored the all-important goal for Brothers in the 71st minute of the match.
With this win, Brothers Union Club has secured five points from five matches while the Freedom Fighters remained at their previous credit of six points playing the same number of outings.
