BPL cricket back in city tomorrow

The third phase of AKS Bangladesh Premier League T20 will back in the city on Friday (November 25) with two match billed for the day at home of cricket Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur.
On the day’s first match of Friday’s fixture, table topper Rangpur Riders will take on Rajshahi Kings at 1.30 pm while Barisal Bulls will play against Khulna Titans in the crucial second match which will start at 6.15 pm.
Rangpur Riders currently dominate the league table with 10 points from six matches , not only having the better run rate but also playing a match less than Khulna Titans who also have secured 10 points but have played a match more than Rangpur.
Dhaka Dynamites are placed in the third position at the league table with eight points from seven matches while Chittagong Vikings hitting form in last few matches are now found their place in the fourth position with eight points from eight outings.
Barisal Bulls, who showed early promise faded miserably in the last few matches at they suffered defeats in a row now are ranked at fifth position in the table with six points from seven matches.
Rajshahi Kings kept their hope alive for the coveted place for the top four with some late rallies to be placed at sixth place with four points.
Surprisingly defending champions Comilla Victorians are languishing from the bottom of the table with only two points from seven matches.
