Amra Muktijoddhar Santan
A joint meeting of Amra Muktijoddhar Santan, Central Committee and Mahanagar Committee was held at its central office in the city’s Bangbandhu Avenue on Monday. In the meeting the speakers called upon all the children of freedom fighters to be united led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for continuation of development process in the country. They urged all to work together to bring Awami League in power again in the next parliament election. The function was addressed, among others, by Adviser of the organisation and freedom fighter Shafiqul Bahar Majumder Tipu, its Presidium Member Hazi Emdadul Haque, Organising Secretary Advocate Nazimuddin Chowdhury, Publicity and Publication Affairs Secretary Shahparan Siddiqui Tareque and Senior Vice-President of the organisation’s Dhaka Mahanagar unit Maniruzzaman Salahuddin. President of the organisation Humayun Kabir presided over the event.
