Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni MP formally inaugurated 3 years Bachelor of Arts (BA) Program of Bangladesh Open University in the Bangladesh Embassy of Seoul, South Korea recently through video conferencing with Employment Permit system (EPS) workers in South Korea.
High Commissioner of Bangladesh in South Korea Abida Islam, Commercial Councilor Md. Masud Rana Chowdhury and First Secretary (labour) Mokima Begum were present at the inaugural program.
BOU introduces its Bachelor of Arts (BA) Program for the expatriate young workers who could not continue education in the country and went abroad for Jobs.
Earlier Bangladesh Open University introduced on-line HSC program in the Embassy of Bangladesh in Seoul, South Korea on 1st April, 2019. It was the first academic program of Bangladesh Open University outside of country.
BOU offered Educational program for the expatriate Bangladeshi workers for their career development and enhancement of social upliftment along with the mission of education for all.
Open University is also going to offer similar academic programs in several other countries.
