BNP has announced a demonstration program all over the country on Sunday as police did not give them the permission to hold their Saturday`s planned rally in capital’s Suhrawardy Udyan marking the ‘National Revolution and Solidarity Day’. BNP acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the programme at a press conference held in the party’s central office at Nayapaltan on Saturday noon. After failing to secure police permission, BNP acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Dhaka City Convener Mirza Abbas, Chairperson’s Advisor Abdul Awal Mintoo, Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Barkat Ullah Bulu and Member Secretary of Dhaka city unit Habib Un Nabi Khan Sohel were sat in a emergency meeting at the party chairperson’s Gulshan political office on Friday night and took the decision. Earlier, BNP tried for the permission for it’s proposed rally marking the ‘National Revolution and Solidarity Day’.
