UNB, Dhaka :BNP will observe ‘mourning day’ on Friday across the country to condole the death of BRAC University professor and right-leaning political analyst Dr Piash Karim.”BNP will observe countrywide ‘mourning day’ on Friday at the premature death of eminent social scientist and political analyst,” said a party press release on Thursday.To mark the day, BNP will hoist black flags and keep the party flags at half-mast at its offices all levels across the country.Besides, the party leaders and activists will wear black badges in observance of the day, the release added.Piash Karim, a professor of BRAC University’s Economics and Social Sciences Department, died of cardiac arrest early Monday at the age of 56.
