Md. Fashiar Rahman joins Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) as Director recently.
Prior to this assignment, he was the Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB). He started his banking career as Assistant Engineer at Bangladesh Krishi Bank in 1974.
He obtained B Sc. degree in Engineering from Bangladesh Agriculture University, Mymensingh. In service of BKB, he completed M Sc. in Engineering in 1980-81 from AIT (Asian Institute of Technology).
In his chaquered banking career of 33 years, he held important positions in banking profession like Regional Manager, Chief Regional Manager and GM of Sylhet Division in BKB.
He took training on ” Project Appraisal & Management from Harvard University in USA including different trainings on banking and attended various seminars.
