Popular film actress Bidya Sinha Mim is set to star in Dipankar Dipon’s cyber-thriller based movie Antorjal. She signed an agreement with Motion People’s Studio recently at their office. Producer Sadekur Arifin and co-producer Shah Amir Khosru were also present on the occasion, among others.
The production, being touted as the country’s first cyber-thriller by Motion People’s Studio in association with the ICT Ministry, aims at highlighting the activities and initiatives of the government’s e-Government Computer Incident Response Team (BGD
e-GOV CIRT) in ensuring online security.
Bidya Sinha Mim shared her feelings by this way, “When the country faces a cyber-attack, different individuals and organisations work together to overcome that crisis and people of that country work together to protect the country. In this film, I will fight for the protection of my country as a cyber-security specialist. This is the first time I will be seen in such a role on screen and while I had to undergo an intense preparation, I look forward to positive experiences in this regard.” While talking about Mim to star in the movie director Dipankar Dipon said, “Bidya Sinha Mim will play the role of an IT foreign graduate. She will represent the country in the field of cyber-attack as an officer of BGD e-GOV CIRT. While she represents a strong character, her role will be loaded with drama and action.”
