Popular film actress of two Bengals, Jaya Ahsan came to Dhaka on Wednesday in a three-day visit to Bangladesh despite having
hectic schedules in Kolkata. Basically this time she came to Dhaka to take part in promotional campaign of her acted movie ‘Beauty Circus.’ She took part in the promotional campaign of her movie at TSC of University of Dhaka. Mahmud Didar directed ‘Beauty Circus,’ a government granted movie, will be released today in 19 theatres.
Jaya told this correspondent that today, on September 23, she will visit different theatres where ‘Beauty Circus’ is scheduled to be released and will watch the movie along with the audience. It is said that after a long time, Jaya will watch her own acted movie along with the audience in Dhaka’s theatre halls. The actress is very much excited in this regard.
While sharing her feelings in this regard, Jaya Ahsan said, “Beauty has cordial initiative to continue circus from her ancestral source. In the meantime, there are some people in the society who want to destroy this circus by somehow. Beauty becomes protagonist to revolt against them. She promises to stay in the battle in favour of continuing circus because it is her family tradition. However, Beauty is the head of the circus troupe and one of the lead artistes. Overall, the story revolves with her.”
“While acting in this movie, I had to pass many times with them who perform in the circus. I had to observe their life and activities from very close distance. It is one of the mentionable journeys in my life to see the people who perform in the circus from very closely and to act in the movie ‘Beauty Circus.’ In this movie, Gazi Rakayet Bhai, Ferdous, among others including late Mohsin Sir acted in different roles. With everybody’s cordial participation, ‘Beauty Circus’ has become an outstanding movie as I believe. As I am lover of pet animals and birds, so that use of them were done very carefully in this movie. I myself became very cautious in this regard,” the actress also said.
Jaya also said, “Shooting of this movie was done for many days. This was our movie for many days but now ‘Beauty Circus’ is asset of the audience. So, I request the audience to come to the theatres to watch this movie specially I am requesting all to bring their children for watching this movie because they will enjoy it. Today I will go to Kolkata. I have a lot of engagement in Kolkata with some commercial movies.”
Jaya Ahsan is now a popular actress in both Bangladesh and Kolkata. She has to remain busy with acting in silver screens of two Bengals most of the time. So, she has to pass times in two Bengals. When she comes to Dhaka, Jaya passes times with her mother and sister.
