After posting an unprecedented four-wicket victory over Afghanistan in the first One Day International (ODI) match, the plucky Bangladesh Cricket team will take on Afghanistan Cricket team in the second ODI match at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, the port city of the country today. The match begins at 11.00am. Private satellite sports channel T Sports and private satellite channel GTV will telecast the match live from the arena.
Before today’s match, Bangladesh and Afghanistan faced each other in nine ODI matches. Of them, Bangladesh recorded six victories, while Afghanistan won in three occasions.
BSS adds: Head Coach of Bangladesh Cricket team Russell Domingo said on Thursday despite their victory in the first game, which was possible due to an epic fight-back staged by youngsters Afif Hossain and Mehidy Hasan Miraz, they couldn’t expect a victory in the second match would be a cakewalk.
“We have to play better cricket tomorrow than we did yesterday.”
