Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar said Bangladesh is advancing fast to be a developed country under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
“Bangladesh is not a bottomless basket now. It has already turned into a digital and developing country and it is going ahead successfully to become a developed country in the globe under the dynamic and far-sighted leadership of Sheikh Hasina” he said.
He stated this on Thursday while addressing a ‘preparatory meeting’ on designing elaborate programs for celebrating Mujib Borsho (Mujib Year ) in Netrakona. The meeting was held at the conference room of Netrakona circuit house .
State Minister for Social Welfare Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru spoke it as special guest.
Khasru said, “We should involve ourselves in nation building activities under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during the Mujib Year to build up the country as hunger and poverty free “Sonar Bangla” as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman” Chaired by Deputy Commissioner Main-Ul-Islam, the meeting was addressed, among others, by Awami League central committee Cultural Secretary of Asim Kumar Ukil MP, Netrakona Mayor Nazrul Islam Khan, Additional Police Super Ashraful Alam and former commander of district Muktizoddha Sangsad Nurul Amin.
