Touring Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) High Performance (HP) team maintained all-win record in Australia beating Northern Territory Invitational Eleven by nine wickets in the 4th match to take a 4-0 lead in the five-match one day series at the Marrara Cricket Ground (MCG) 1 in Darwin on Sunday.
Bangladesh HP Squad made a good start beating Northern Territory Invitational Eleven by one wicket in the first match, beat the same team by 70 runs in the 2nd match and earned the 3rd consecutive victory beating the same team again by 42 runs in the 3rd one dayer, all at the Marrara Cricket Ground (MCG) 1 in Darwin.
Winning the toss, the hosts Northern Territory team opted to bat first, but their batting decision was backfired as they were bundled out for 136 runs with their last match centurion Alex Gregory contributing the team highest 36 runs.
Abu Haider Rony made the major damage in the host innings grabbing four wickets for 22 runs while Ebadot Hossain and Abul Hasan Raju took two wicket each conceding 18 and 29 runs respectively.
Chasing an easy target, BCB HP team face no trouble to score the match-winner 137 runs for the loss of one wicket in 26 overs with Liton Kumar Das hammering an unbeaten 72 runs.
The touring BCB HP team will play their remaining one one-day match against the same team on July 11 at the same venue.
Moreover, the Bangladeshi squad will play a three-day match also against the local selections on July 13-15 on the same ground.
