BASIS signs training agreement with BCS

Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) signed a training accreditation agreement with United Kingdom based BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, on Thursday.
The training accreditation was signed at the opening session of ‘Bangladesh Investment Summit 2021: Building Sustainable Growth Partnership’ organized by Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, said a press release.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina witnessed the signing as the Chief Guest of the program.
Meanwhile, Syed Almas Kabir, president of BASIS and Lucy Ireland MBCS, managing director of BCS Learning & Development Ltd Lucy Ireland MBCS, and Stephen Tweed, International Onboarding & Support, BCS L&D were also present there.
BASIS president said there is no substitute to internationally certified skills to remain competitive.
Through this agreement, individuals involved in local ICT will have the opportunity to participate in advanced ICT training programs to acquire 4IR cutting-edge skills accredited by the United Kingdom based BCS.
