The 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of BASIC Bank Limited held through video conferencing on Thursday. Professor Dr. Abul Hashem, Chairman of the Board of Directors presided over the meeting. Md. Rafiqul Alam, Managing director of the bank delivered the welcome speech. Rukhsana Hasin, Joint Secretary, Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance attended the meeting as the representative of the bank’s sole shareholder the Govt. of Bangladesh, said a press release.
Md. Shaheb Ali Mridha, Md. Razib Parvez and Md. Rafiqul Islam, Directors, Mohammad Khurshid Wahab, observer appointed by Bangladesh Bank, Chief Financial Officer, Company Secretary and representative of Audit firm, M/S. Aziz Halim Khair Chowdhury were also present in the meeting. The meeting approved the financial statements for the year 2019 of the bank.
