The two semi-finals of the Bashundhara Group Federation Cup Football will be held at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur today. Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited will take on Rahmatganj MFS in the first semi-final at 4.00pm, while Dhaka Abahani Limited will face Saif Sporting Club in the second semi-final at 7.00pm. Private satellite channel T Sports will telecast the matches live from the big bowl.
Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited reached the semi-final defeating Chittagong Abahani Limited by 2-1 goals in the first quarter-final on January 2, while Saif Sporting Club moved into the semi-final defeating Swadhinata Krira Sangha by two goals to nil on the same day.
Rahmatganj MFS reached the semi-final beating Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Limited by 4-3 goals on January 3, while Dhaka Abahani Limited stormed into the semi-final outplaying Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited by six goals to nil on the same day.
