Banglalink, Facebook to work for internet access

Mobile phone operator Banglalink and Facebook jointly launched “Learn Internet, See the World” programme to ease the daily lives of people providing access to internet.
Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Banglalink Ritesh Kumar Singh made the announcement at a press conference in a city hotel on the fifth instant, said a press release.
Built on “train the trainer” model, the programme will train 20,000 Banglalink retailers and 4,500 dedicated promoters to reach out 20 lakh customers over the next two years.
The programme will provide basic training on the usage and benefits of Internet along with guidance on using Facebook to remain connected with friends and family as well as explore their interest groups and find ways to leverage the platform for their skills and business. On the occasion of this launch, customers can avail unlimited Facebook browsing data for five days using Taka 19 scratch card.
Ritesh Kumar Singh said, “We firmly believe that this joint campaign will take us one step closer to the fulfillment of our vision.”
