Bangladesh U-12 Football team off to Korea

Bangladesh U-12 National Football Team left the capital for South Korea on Wednesday to participate in the Asian Youth U-12 Football Fiesta to be held in Anseong Sports Complex, Anseong City, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea on August 7-10.
Mohammad Mehedi Hasan is leading the Bangladesh junior team which comprises 12 players and four officials.
Fifteen Asian countries, split in two groups, will participate in a six-a-side 30-minute competition.
Fifteen participating nations are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, East Timor, India, Laos, Mongolia, Nepal, Palestine, Pakistan, Thailand, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and South Korea.
Bangladesh Team players: Mohammad Mehedi Hasan (captain), Hira Ahmed, Rakibul Hasan, Mohammad Meraj, Mohammad Rana, Mohammad Rashedul Islam, Mominul Islam Tonmoy, Shahriar Kabir, Sagar Chandra Potra, Murad Hossain, Mehrab Hossain Opi and Rezaul Karim.
Officials: Mashuk Miah (delegation member), Arif Hossain Moon (team manager), Mostafa Anwar Parvez (coach) and Hasan Mahmud (media officer).
Earlier in preparatory matches, Bangladesh U-12 team beat Arambagh Football Academy by a solitary goal on Sunday (Aug 2) and outplayed Madanpur Football Academy by 10-0 goals on July 25, both at BFF Artificial Turf here.
