Syed Saifuddin Ahmad Maizbhandari, Chairman of the newly emerged political party titled Bangladesh Supreme Party in a simple ceremony in Chattogram who filed nomination paper for the coming national parliament election under the banner of Islami Front with Candle symbol as his party yet to be enlisted with the Election Commission.
Bangladesh Supreme Party emerges with the slogan of” Build Country with Unity” . Informed circles observed two great alliances led by ruling party and BNP are facing with their internal feuds severely across the country as well as specifically in Fatikchari constituency.
In this situation of Fatikchari, Sunni Mohajote candidate Syed Saifuddin Ahmed Maizbhandari is staying in better position.
In a meeting of exchanging views with the party activists recently , he said he joined the election dialogue with Prime Minister on behalf of Islamic Democratic Alliance and hence with the signal from high command he filed nominations to EC accordingly.
Beside Fatikchari, he also filed nomination from Dhaka-14 constituency.
Recently Saifuddin Maizbhandari is also continuing dialogue with the like minded Islamic parties. He also hoped to get the Boat symbol as an alliance member of Mohajote . Centring nominations from Fatikchari , feuds in peak in between ruling party and Tarikat Federation. The senior leaders of AL are very annoyed over the nomination to Tarikat Federation chief Nazibul Bashar Maizbandari from Mohajote .
Mentionable that Nazibal Bashar was elected MP in 2014 with Mohajote ticket.
President of Upazila AL Mojibul Hoque Chowdhury also opposed to the policy making body of ruling party not to give nomination to Nazibul Bashar this term, different sources said. In the meantime, upazila AL and its front ogranisation brought out protest procession against the Mohoajote Nominee Nazibul Bashar and chanted slogans in favour of AL candidate Peyarul Islam on Saturday last. Meanwhile the big alliance of oppositions Jatiya Oikya jote is also in the horns of dilemma centring the a number of candidates for parliament election . Five candidates from BNP deposited nomination papers to EC from Fatikchari seat. The nomination paper of the giant candidaste from BNP Giasuddin Quader’s nomination paper declared void by EC on Sunday . Party will decide the party nominee from other candidates so far deposited nominations. In this circumstances, the field of Saifuddin Ahmad Maizbandari is quite positive to run the election as a mohajote nominee , conscious circles opined.
