ASEAN Football: Bangladesh suffer 1-2 defeat to Lijian FC of China

Bangladesh National Football team suffered the 2nd consecutive defeat in the Yunnan ASEAN International Open Football Tournament losing to Lijian FC of hosts China by 1-2 goals at Mang Shi City Stadium in Yunnan Province Sunday morning.
Bangladesh made a frustrating start in the meet after conceding 2-3 goals defeat against Hataharwady United FC of Myanmar in their first match on Friday.
In the day’s match, Shi Yony put the home side ahead in the 44th minute while Aminur Rahman Sojib restored the parity for Bangladesh in the 83rd minute (1-1).
Li Yingjian scored the match-winning goal for the host team in the 84th minute (2-1).
Monayem Khan Raju of Bangladesh got the red card in the 55th minute while Hemonta Vinsent Biswas and Toklis Ahmed received yellow cards in the 30th and 45th minutes respectively.
Bangladesh will play their next match against Hebei Football team of China Tuesday afternoon.
