Sports Reporter :
Members of Bangladesh Cricket team reached Wellington on Wednesday from Christchurch to take part in the last and third ODI. The third ODI will be held at the Basin Reserve in Wellington tomorrow. The match begins at 4.00am. New Zealand already clinched the ODI series 2-0 so the third match is not so important for the Black Caps. But the third match is very significant for Bangladesh as the Tigers have to win the match if they want to avoid whitewash.
Players of Bangladesh passed their time on Wednesday at a swimming pool in Wellington.
Pacer Taskin Ahmed said, ” We have passed our time at the swimming pool to recovery from tiredness. We did swimming and stretching to become fit and steady. We played back-to-back ODIs and also travel for a long time. So, the swimming will give us freshness.”
Bangladesh tasted a huge defeat in the first ODI at Dunedin on March 20. But they fought back against New Zealand in the second ODI at Christchurch on March 23. Though Bangladesh lost to New Zealand in the second ODI but the touring side posted a fighting total against the hosts. Bangladesh missed a lot of catches and performed a worst fielding in that match. Thus they conceded defeat. Otherwise, the result of the second ODI might be different.
