The Bangabandhu Gold Cup International Football Tournament will be held in Dhaka in October this year.
The decision was taken at an executive committee meeting of the organizer of the tournament, Bangladesh Football Federation, at the BFF House on Saturday.
BFF president Kazi M Salahuddin presided over the meeting.
The meeting also decided to organize “Super Cup-2014” and “Under-18 Football Tournament” after the ongoing Nitol-Tata Bangladesh Premier Football League.
The BFF meeting endorsed the participation of Bangladesh Under-23 Men’s Football Team in the 17th Asian Games to be held in South Korean city Incheon from Sept 19 to October 4 this year.
The meeting decided to send a letter to BOA regarding participation Bangladesh Women’s Football team in the meet as BOA is yet to respond to their appeal to include Women’s Football team in the Games.
