The World Wildlife Day will be observed in the country today as elsewhere across the world.
To mark the day, Forests Department has taken various programmes including seminar and discussion aiming to highlight significance of the day, a press release said.
The Forest Department will organize a seminar and discussion at 3.30pm at ‘Ban Bhaban’ in city’s Agaorgaon.
Environment and Forests Minister Anisul Islam Mahmud will join the discussion as the chief guest while State Minister for Environment and Forest Abdullah Al Islam Jakob will attend it as the special guest.
