Ban politics of anti-liberation forces’

Media Adviser to the Prime Minister Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury on Tuesday advocated banning the politics of the anti-liberation forces in the country.
He also said the forces who had enacted a law in the parliament banning the trial of the self-confessed killers of Bangabandhu, should apologise to the nation for their heinous activities in the past.
He was speaking as the chief guest at a discussion held on the occasion of the Bijoy Dibas organized by Bijoy Mela Parishad in Chittagong in the evening.
He also said a vested quarter had tried to erase the name of Bangabandhu, Father of the Nation, from the history of Bangladesh.
He urged the people not to vote for them in the next general elections.
“Only Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be able to upgrade Bangladesh to a developed one in the next decade” he said, adding, she has already proved herself.
Iqbal Sobhan, also the Daily Observer Editor, said the Prime Minister had introduced Bangladesh in the international arena under her able leadership. As a result, the international community awarded her as the mother of humanity.
He called upon the pro-liberation forces to be united under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina to ban the politics of the anti-liberation forces.
Presided over by Freedom Fighter Abu Mansur, the meeting was addressed by Indu Nadan Dutta as special guest.
