The negative impact of terrorism is a threat to international peace and internal security, and the attack on the minority people in Bangladesh is nothing but internal terrorism, said Prime Minister’s International Affairs Advisor Gowher Rizvi.
He passed the remarks on Saturday as the chief guest at a seminar titled ` Militants and Terrorism in Bangladesh: Involvement of the World Community with Bangladesh to
Curb Terrorism’ in Nawab Nabab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhavan of Dhaka University (DU).
Political Science Association organized the seminar.
Rizvi suggested unity under a common platform to wipe out terrorism soon from the country.
Ghiyasuddin Mollah, President of Political Science Association presided over the function, while DU Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique spoke as special guest. Professor Emirates Abdul Momen, Information Commissioner Khursida Begum Saeed and delegate of Indian High Commission to Bangladesh Rajesh spoke as honorable guests.
General Secretary of Political Science Association Syed Ashrafur Rahman gave welcome speech and Office Secretary Monirul Islam conducted the function.
