ASM Feroz has been appointed as the Chief Whip in the 10th Parliament. The Patuakhali MP was a Whip in the 9th Parliament. Along with him, Sherpur MP Md Atiur Rahman Atik, Dinajpur MP Iqbalur Rahim, Maulvibazar MP Md Shahab Uddin, Chuadanga MP Solaiman Haque Joarder (Salun), and Naogaon MP Md Shahiduzzaman Sarker have been appointed as whips. Feroz is the only whip of the 9th Parliament to be given the similar responsibility once again. The other newly appointed whips got the responsibility for the first time though they were MPs in the previous Parliament. Parliament Secretariat’s public relations Deputy Director Nazmul Huda said a circular had been issued in this regard on Friday after the President’s approval.
