A court in Khulna on Wednesday ordered to send Journalist Md Abu Tayeb Munshi, Khulna Correspondent of private television channel ntv, to jail.
Khulna Metropolitan Magistrate Sumi Ahmed passed the order when the journalists was produced before her virtual court around 10am.
Sadar Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Ashraful Alam said remand will be sought for Abu Tayeb to interrogate him for the investigation.

Nagar house at about 10:30pm on Tuesday in a case filed under the Digital Security Act (DSA).
Khulna City Corporation mayor and Khulna City Awami League president Talukder Abdul Khaleque filed the case.
The OC said journalist Abu Tayeb Munshi has recently made a Facebook post against Talukder Abdul Khaleque. In that post, he made an allegation of evading customs duty by Talukder Abdul Khaleque at Mongla Port.
