BSS, Dhaka :
Chief of Army Staff General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan on Thursday paid a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban.
The army chief was accompanied by Commandant of Signal Training Center and School Brigadier General SM Farhad.
During the call on, they handed over a letter of invitation to the President to attend the Signal Corps Commanding Officers’ Conference and Re-union 2014 to be held in Jessore on November 25.
Abdul Hamid accepted the invitation and thanked them.
The army chief apprised the President of the activities of Bangladesh Army.
