The Teer archery talent hunt program under the project of ‘Teer Go for Gold’ was formally inaugurated at Nilphamari district sports association on Saturday.
Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor formally inaugurated the program as the chief guest, sponsored by City Group and organized by Bangladesh Archery Federation.
Nilphamari district police super and Niphamari district sports association’s vice president M Ashraf Hossain was present as the special guest.
On the first day of the talent hunt program, 100 out of 400 boys and girls have been finally selected and among them twenty boys and girls will be pick up for eight-day training that begins from today.
One boy and one girl will be selected for the final round on the closing day (May 7)
It can be mention that Bangladesh Archery Federation (BAF) decided to conduct a talent hunt program across the country in order to bring out talented archers. Initially the BAF has selected 12 districts to conduct their program.
