For the first time popular actor Apurbo and viewers’ choice popular actress Urmila Srabonti Kar are working together as a pair in a drama serial.
Though in the beginning of her career Urmila got the scope to work with Apurbo but unfortunately the serial did not air later.
They basically came into limelight to work together in faction play in 2012. Later they worked in several times in other faction plays.
This time they have become one of the favourite pairs to the viewers of present time. As a result, they are working together under the direction of noted director Syed Shakil’s 52-episode new serial Shonar Shikol now. Shooting of the serial has already been started in different places in the city’s Uttara area. This will continue till end of this week. Apurbo and Urmila are acting in roles of Arko and Jui in the serial.
While sharing his feelings to work in the serial Apurbo told this correspondent, “In a word, story of the serial is nice. It unnecessarily do not make under lengthy procedure. There is a nice bonding in the story of the serial. For this reason, I have liked to work in the serial. I strongly say that after watching the serial everybody will like it. As an actress, Urmila is doing well now. I always find she trying her level best while acting.”
Urmila shared her feelings by this way, “Apurbo Bhai is one of the serious actors by whom I have worked till now in the small screen. I have any dare to speak about his acting. From the beginning of the shooting of the serial he has cooperated me well. In fact, I really enjoy working with him. I am really grateful to Syed Shakil Bhai to give me an opportunity to work in this serial.”
Director Shakil informed that the serial will be aired in any satellite channel soon. Scripted by Shafiqur Rahman Shantanu the cast of the serial also includes Abul Hayat, Saberi Alam, Shahadat Hossain, Badhon, Irfan Sajjad, Shabnam Faria, Snigdha Srabon, among others.
It is noted that earlier under Shakil’s direction Apurbo played the title role in the serial Samrat. Under same director’s direction he also acted in faction plays Nil Dupur, Holud Boshonto and Aborto.
