Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) organised a campaign with a motto of “Information is power, know, corruption will be prevented” at Cumilla University (CuU) campus on Thursday.
Chief Guest Prof Dr Emran Kabir Chowdhury, Vice-Chancellor of CuU, inaugurated the session at 10 am in academic building. Citizen Committee president Badrul Huda Genu presided over the campaign where the register of the university Dr Abu Taher, university Teachers’ Association President Dr Shamimul Islam, University Proctor Dr Kazi Md. Kamal Uddin and Members of the TIB was present there.
Emran Kabir Chowdhury said, “Who take corruption as policy will not survive. It’s a curse on our society like cancer. If it is not prevented, we all will suffer”.
An open discussion about Right to Information Act was held at the last session.
