Sylhet, UNB: Police arrested another accused in the gruesome killing of minor boy Rajon from Tuker Bazar in Shohortali area in the city on Saturday noon. The arrestee was identified as Ruhul Amin, brother-in-law of Ali Haider, a suspect named in the FIR of the case. Ruhul allegedly helped Ali Haider in hiding the body of Rajon after the gruesome killing and later tried to intimidate Rajon’s father to stop him from filing a case in connection with the murder. Jalalabad Police Station officer-in-charge Akhter Hossain confirmed the arrest. Earlier on Friday morning, police arrested Ali Haider from Sheikhpara in the city. With the arrest of Ruhul, nine people have so far been arrested in connection with the gruesome murder. Earlier on July 8, the 13-year-old boy, Sheikh Samiul Alam Rajon, son of Sheikh Azizur Rahman of Badeali village in Sadar upazila, was brutally tortured to death over a theft at Sundar Ali Market in Kumargaon area of the city. The killers themselves took the video footage of the incident and uploaded it on the internet. The video clip went viral on social networking site Facebook and video-sharing site Youtube which caused a widespread outcry.
