The Annual Sports Competition of Dr Muhammad Shahidullah Hall of Dhaka University (DU) was held at the Central Play Ground of DU on Sunday.
Sakilur Rahman, an MS student of Electronic & Electrical Engineering Department and Md Ishtiaq Uddin, a fourth year student of Electronic & Electrical Engineering Department became joint-champions of the competition, while Mahedi Ahmmed, an MS student of Geology Department finished runner-up.
After the competition, Treasurer of DU Professor Dr Md Kamal Uddin distributed the prizes among the winners.
Provost of the Hall Professor Dr Md Ainul Islam presided over the prize-giving ceremony.
Earlier, Vice-Chancellor of DU Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the sports meet.
