Eggs and milk are sold at fair prices in different places of Shibalaya Upazila through mobile sale outlets to ensure animal nutrition of the people in Corona (Covid-19) situation across the country. Eggs and milk are sold at fair prices under the management of Manikganj District Administration and Livestock Department in collaboration with Animal Resources and Dairy Development Project, Department of Animal Resources, Ministry of Fisheries and Animal Resources.
Eggs and milk were sold at Tepra and Uthli markets on Wednesday. Manikganj District Animal Resources Officer Md. Mahbubul Islam, ShibalayaUpazila Animal Resources Officer Rezaul Karim, Animal Resources Extension Officer Nita Chakraborty and Dr. Enam Ahmed were present there.
Shibalaya Upazila Animal Resources Officer Rezaul Karim said eggs and milk are being sold at fair prices in different places of Shibalaya Upazila through mobile sales outlets to ensure animal nutrition of the people in Corona (Covid-19) situation across the country. Each egg is sold at Tk 5 and milk at Tk 50 per liter.
He added that 3,000 eggs and 23 litres of milk were sold at fair prices at Tepra and Uthali Bazars in Shibalaya on Wednesday, April 21. This activity has started from last 13th April and will continue till the ongoing lockdown.
