Glitch in PM's flight: All accused acquitted

A court here on Wednesday acquitted all 11 accused in a case over the technical glitch in a VVIP flight of Biman carrying Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in 2016.
Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Kamrul Hossain Mollah passed the order. The 11 officials are Biman chief engineer Debesh Chowdhury, chief engineer (quality assurance) SS Siddique, principal engineer (system and maintenance)
Billal Hossain, engineers Shamiul Haque, Niron Chandra Bishwas, Lutfar Rahman, Zakir Hossain and SM Rokonuzzaman, technician Siddiqur Rahman, engineer (officer) Nazmul Hoque and junior technician Shah Alam.
Besides, the court ordered three acquitted accused- technician Siddiqur Rahman, engineer (officer) Nazmul Hoque and junior technician Shah Alam-to submit a report Under Section 287 of penal code.
