AK Azad named for Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah Gold Medal

Professor AK Azad Khan has been named as recipient of Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah Gold Medal for his outstanding contribution in expansion of diabetic health services countrywide as well as creating consciousness about it.
An 11-member jury board formed by Dhaka Ahsania Mission at a meeting on Tuesday unanimously decided to award Professor AK Azad Khan. The award will be handed over to him formally at a function soon.
Since 1986, Dhaka Ahsania Mission has been honouring persons for their outstanding contributions in different fields with gold medals after the name of its founder Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah.
A total of 22 eminent personalities have been awarded with gold medals, so far.
