Air India to inaugurate Int’l operations between Dhaka-Delhi

Air India (AI) Express will inaugurate the International operations between Dhaka and Delhi on February 17 introducing four weekly flights.
IX 131 will depart Dhaka at 7.25am and arrive in Delhi at 9.10am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. On the return from Delhi the flight will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Flight IX 132 will depart Delhi at 11.50pm and arrive in Dhaka at 4pm, according to a media release.
With the increased operations, the services between Dhaka and India will increase from 4 weekly flights to 8 flights per week.
AI Express has a code share with AI on this route. With Delhi being AI’s hub, the flight will provide a feed from Delhi to interior points in India.
AI Express also plans to provide code share connections on Air India flights from Dhaka to the UK and the USA and vice versa via Delhi.
Air India Express will also provide connections to passengers from Dhaka to Dubai via Delhi. After arriving in Delhi from Dhaka at 9.10am, the connecting flight will depart Delhi at 1.45pm and arrive in Dubai at 3.55pm.
Additionally, Air India Express will also provide connections to passengers from Abu Dhabi to Dhaka via Delhi. The flight will depart Abu Dhabi at 12.20am. After arriving in Delhi at 5.20am, the connecting flight will depart Delhi at 11.50pm and arrive in Dhaka at 4pm.
