There are many students, who often find themselves immersed in their studies. And when it is time to test/exam, it does not matter; day and night study one by one. The goal is one, good results. There are many students who, despite their talent, work hard day and night, cannot achieve the desired result in the exam. But again, there are many students who do well in the exams, despite not having to study day and night. And this is usually due to the action plan in study.
Action plan is a process which will help you to focus your ideas and to decide what steps you need to take to achieve particular goals that you may have. The action plan you develop will relate to the tasks you need to achieve and be linked to your previous reflective evaluation/review it is a statement of what you want to achieve over a certain period of time. Preparing an action plan is a good way to help you to reach your expected learning outcomes.
Make your action plan SMART
Goals are part of every aspect life and provide a sense of direction, motivation, a clear focus, and clarify importance. By setting goals for yourself, you are providing yourself with a target to aim for. A SMART goal is used to help guide goal setting. SMART is an acronym that stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely. Therefore, a SMART goal incorporates all of these criteria to help focus your efforts and increase the chances of achieving that goal.
SMART goals are:
o Specific: Well defined, clear, and unambiguous
o Measurable: With specific criteria that measure your progress towards the accomplishment of the goal
o Achievable: Attainable and not impossible to achieve
o Realistic: Within reach, realistic, and relevant to your life purpose
o Timely: With a clearly defined timeline, including a starting date and a target date. The purpose is to create urgency.
Meaning of action plan
The action plan is the step to achieve the desired goal within a given time period. It is essentially a process by which specific goals can be achieved by focusing on the particular issues of academic education. This action plan plays a very helpful role in studying. However, to take this action plan, you must keep in mind two sides. The first one is the deadline and the second are some steps which are stated below-
Decide first
The most important thing in the Action Plan for Learning is to envision a future. What do you want yourself to see in the future? — Administrator, engineer, doctor, educationist or something else? Whatever you want to be, you have to go through a specific process. For this, you need to plan your future in coordination with the things you like and love. In this case, emotions should not be tolerated in any way. Without listening to anyone, you should give priority to what you feel comfortable reading.
Find out the weaknesses
First of all, you need to decide how much time and labor you will spend behind the study. Every day time needs to be divided exactly as it is. In this case you have to spend more time and effort towards your main desire subject. Try to overcome the key points and find out where your weaknesses are. You will understand the result in a few days.
Make plans
After entering college or university, the authorities give a syllabus of what to study throughout the year. Make your own reading routine on the basis of that syllabus. Make it a routine in light of what will be taught in the first semester. By prioritizing your core issues, keep the issues you are weak and must-focus.
Keep yourself updated
Not only study, but also practice different creativity to prove yourself worthy in the workplace in the future. Involve yourself with the various cultural organizations on campus. Increase your faith in yourself by doing something new and different. Learn any language other than the Bengali language. Have an idea about information technology. Keep an eye on the world from various types of newspapers, native and foreign magazines, and the internet and so on. Take time out and travel. These things will help you as an absolute friend in your next career.
