ACI has been contributing to the agricultural sector of Bangladesh for long time with various types of agricultural services. It is constantly working on new business concepts and development to solve the related problems in the agricultural production. ACI Green Solution is such an exceptional initiative. Urban agriculture is not an idea on Wednesday ,03 February 3, 2021, it is the demand of time. With that concept in mind a new service called “ACI Green Solution” was launched on February 1st 2021. The city dwellers will get all kinds of services and inputs of roof garden and urban agriculture under a roof as one stop service.
Dr. M Zainul Abedin, Founder of BSAFE Foundation and former IRRI representative, Bangladesh was Chief Guest of the Virtual launchingprogram.Mr. Taherul Islam, PD(UAP&SP) DAE, Mr. Masud Ahmed, PD-(HDP), BADC, Prof. Abu NomanFaruk Ahmed, SAU were present as special guests in the program.
UAOs’ of Dhaka Metropolitan, Information Officer (Agriculture) AIS, Officers-City Corporation, Journalists, Rooftop Gardeners, Business Head of ACI Seed, Motors, Fertilizer, Executive Director-Crop Care and other members managing director and CEO of ACI Agribusiness Dr. FH Ansari were present there and chaired by Sushmita Anis, Managing Director, ACI Formulations Ltd. ACI Green Solution will play an important role in enriching urban agriculture -expressed by Agricultural Scientist and Researchers.
