Staff Reporter : Anti-Corruption Commission filed graft case against a former official of Dhaka North City Corporation on Sunday.
ACC Assistant Director Jasmine Akhter filed the case against former Purchase and Store Officer of DNCC Abdul Malek.
The case filed in ACC’s coordinated district office Dhaka-1.
Allegation in the case has described that the DNCC official has embraced Tk more than 65 lakhs during 2011 to 2014.
It stated that the defendant embraced government’s goods abusing responsibility and power of his designation.
The official has committed punishable offense by such acts accordance on section 409 on penal code and the section 5(2) of anti-corruption act of 1947.
