UNB, Dhaka :
The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has cleared a customs superintendent from graft charges.
The Commission gave the clean chit to M Habibur Rahman, a superintendent of Custom Office, through an official notice issued by ACC secretary Maksudul Hasan Khan recently.
Earlier, the ACC received a graft allegation in 2010 that Habibur Rahman, who currently working at the customs office of Dhak
South Commissionerate, accumulated huge wealth through corruption while he was working at Sylhet customs office.
Taking the allegation into the account, the national anti-graft body launched a probe against him, ACC sources said. After conducting an inquiry against him, they said, the ACC did not find his involvement in graft or irregularity.
