Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Thursday (February 11), the last trading day of the week.
DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 7.92 points to stand at 4581.34 at the close of day’s trading. Trade deals stood at 120947 with transaction at Tk 5056.61 million. Of the issues traded, 104 advanced, 177 declined and 39 remained unchanged.
BSRMLTD topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 565.63 million having changed hands. The other turnover leaders were BXPHARMA, UPGDCL, BSRMSTEEL, AL-HAJTEX, LAFSURCEML, HEIDELBCEM, IFADAUTOS, ALLTEX and QSMDRYCELL.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8590.10 by gaining over 20.11 points. Out of the issues traded, 81 gained, 125 declined and 41 remained unchanged.
