The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) on Monday arrested the zila relief and rehabilitation officer of Kurigram in a graft case.
ACC assistant director Md Amirul Islam of its Rangpur office arrested rehabilitation officer Abdul Motaleb Mollah, also a former project implementation officer of Rangpur, from Kurigram town, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told UNB.
On June 26, 2013, the ACC filed a case against him with Rangpur Sadar Police Station for allegedly misappropriating about 2 lakh from four rural development projects when he was a project implementation officer in Rangpur.
