Police in a drive arrested a suspected member of banned militant outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) from Moulvibazar village in Teknaf upazila on Friday morning.
The arrestee was identified as M Ali, 31, son of Kabir Ahmed of Moulvibazar village. Officer-in-Charge of Teknaf Police Station M Abdul Majid said Ali was on the run as he was wanted in seven sabotage cases.
On secrete information that Ali returned home in the morning, a team of police conducted a drive in his house and arrested him. Police also seized two laptops and five mobile phone sets from the house.
