Vice-President of Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) Abdur Rashid Sikder was unanimously elected executive committee member of Asian Hockey Federation on Sunday.
The new executive committee of Asian Hockey Federation was formed in the AHF Congress held at the Concorde Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
Prince Abdullah ibni Sultan Ahmad Shah was elected unopposed as the President of the Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) while Dato Fumio Ogura as Treasurer of the AHF unopposed.
Prince Abdullah is the Crown Prince of the State of Pahang in Malaysia and he is also the President of the Malaysian Hockey Confederation and president of Football Association of Malaysia.
Abdur Rashid Sikder and BHF general secretary Khawja Rahmatullah are now in Malaysia to participate in the AHF Congress
