95 held in 2 dists

Law enforcers arrested a total of 95 people during the ongoing anti-narcotics drives in Naogaon and Magura districts in last 24 hours till Wednesday morning.
In Naogaon, law enforcers arrested 81 alleged drug traders from different parts of the district, said Iqbal Hossain, superintendent of Naogaon Police.
Of them, 17 were arrested from Sadar upazila, two each from Atrai
and Raninagar, six each from Badalgacchi and Sapahar, three from Mahadebpur, eight from Manda, twelve from Patnitala, one from Porsha and eleven from Dhamorhait police station while eight others were arrested from different parts of the district by DB police. Police also recovered huge amount of heroin, Yaba tablets, hemp, Phensidyl syrup and liquor from their possession. In Magura, police arrested 14 people from different places in the district. All of them were wanted in various cases, said police.
