The authorities of Islamic University (IU), Kushtia appointed 8 new chairmen to newly launched 8 departments on Tuesday.
Sources said, UGC approved 8 new departments for Islamic University, (IU) Kushtia to launch from this academic session 2017-18 on Spet 25. The University appointed chairman for these new departments.
They are University Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Shahinoor Rahman for Social Welfare department, University treasurer Professor Dr. M Selim Toha for Law and Land Management, Prof Dr. M Maniruzzaman for Pharmacy, Prof Dr. M Mahbubul Arefin for Tourism and Hospitality Management , Prof Dr. Tapon Kumar Zoardar for Biomedical Engineering, Prof Dr. S M Mostafa Kamal for Environmental Science and Geography, Prof Dr. Nasim Banu for Development Studies, and Prof Dr. Kazi Akhtar Hossain for Human Resource Management department.
