The 7th founding anniversary of Special Needs Education Center (SNEC), a school for autistic children, at Jahangirnagar University (JU) was celebrated on the campus on Saturday.
JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Farzana Islam inaugurated the function as the chief guest by cutting cake at the senate hall on the campus.
Director (honorary) of the SNEC Professor Dr Hanif Ali conducted the programme while JU Treasurer Professor Dr Abul Khair and Additional Secretary of Social Welfare Ministry Sushanta Kumar Pramanik addressed as the special guests.
Professor Farzana sought all out cooperation of public and private sectors of the country to run the SNEC properly.
