7 Ishwardi drug dealers held with 800 Yabas

DB police in Ishwardi have arrested seven drug dealers with 800 pieces yaba. During the raid in Mirkamari village of Ishwardi, the main culprit of the yaba business, 3 motorcycles, Tk 20,000 in cash and 8 mobile phones were seized. Pabna Superintendent of Police Mohammad Mahibul Islam Khan told a press conference in front of the DB office on Sunday afternoon.
He said Inspector of Police (OC) Abdul Hannan was able to arrest the drug dealers on the basis of secret information in the middle of the night on May 15.
Among the arrested are Harun Ar-Rashid, 35, son of Santu Malitha of Mirkamari area of Ishwardi, Monirul Islam, 33, son of Mosalem Uddin Sarkar of the same area, Monirul Islam Moni, 34, son of Abdul Rashid of Sahapur area and Mamun, son of Keramat Malitha of Hedayet Para. (29), Arman Hossain Guddu, 29, son of late Kamrul Uddin of New Colony area of the municipal area, Mostafizur Rahman Ujjal, 21, son of Nur Mohammad Nur and Araf Islam Antar, 28, son of Post Office Jun Chunu Mia.
The police superintendent said that the detainees had been buying and selling illegal drugs in different places for a long time. Preparations are underway to file a case against them at Ishwardi police station. There are multiple arms and drug cases against the accused Johnny.
